HI all. I got my first zed two weeks ago and I am loving it. It is a 2000 facelift model, 2ltr flat-six, and sounds gorgeous. Methinks possibly some of the horses have gone missing in the 21 years of its history however a thorough service should bring them back. I have quickly identified areas of improvement (seat tilts and centre armrest) and have contacted southern guy in this regard. My name is Simon, I am sixty years old and living in Weston-Super-Mare with my Springer Spaniel, Henry. He likes the car but was somewhat bemused at the absence of a roof. I am keen to meet other owners and attend meets and drives so all invites are welcome.
Best regards to all
Simon

:welcome:to the Forum from West Cumbria. The season is nearing it's end, April to October usually, but there may still be a few over winter. Keep your eye on the Events Section

Hi and welcome Simon @smca from me near Lincoln. I had a 2.0 Z3, same year, and you do have to use the gears to get the best out of them.

Tony.

Welcome from me over the water from you in Newport, we have a small group of Zed Shed Cymru members with Z3's and Z4's over here. Get together to fix our cars when they need jobs doing and have run outs and attend some of the Classic Car Shows. Usually put a post up in the Event Threads when we plan trips/shows and we have a Whats App group to keep in touch locally, you are very welcome to join us.
You also have Zed Shed West in Lydney run by @Nodzed that operates on Saturdays to fettle members cars, he will pop up with a welcome on here no doubt.
