Hello and welcome to the forum
Hi Steve, yes they did improve a lot. My original ones weren't split, but certainly cracking and tired! From me near Nottingham.
Your zed is looking good, I like the deep dish rear wheels.
Did the poly bushes on the front control arms make much of an improvement ?.
Just wondered as I've ordered poly bushes for rear mount of the front control arms.
Steve.
Welcome to the forum from the other side of the Pond............................FrankieHi All,
I am new to the forum, but have had my '98 Z3 2.8 for a few years now, regularly visiting here to get tips and tricks on keeping the old girl on the road.
I am a bit car mad, with a few too many in the stable, but lets not dwell on that!
Recent fixes to the zed are:
Programming my own replacement key as I only had 1.
Install aftermarket remote locking with factory looking key-fob.
Replace & upgrade front lower wishbone bushes with polybush.
Replace rear axle beam bushes and regret not using polybush and not changing the diff mounting bush at the same time.
Fixes coming soon(ish!) are:
Replace the poorly repaired and painted bonnet (a previous owner).
Fix the traction control which currently illuminates the fun light!
