Simply beautiful Andy - the whole package looks spot on. I think one of the best set of mods (all mods are of course a matter of taste) I've seen and I love it.

There was a stick on mirror in the glove box so I'm guessing this was used for the MOT on the offside. I'm not the biggest fan of the wheel size either although they do look a lot better in person then in a photo! I thought they looked weird when I first saw the ad for it then when I got next to it was surprised they actually looked quite good. Alas I will still end up swapping them for some nice lighter 17's at some point. I will try and get to some local meets when I can yeah when they come around again. This is the only pic of the rear just yet :) thanks again for all the nice comments!

I like the colour, set of clear rear lenses would look good on there I reckon. ;)

Hi Andy and welcome from near Lincoln, a great looking car which sits nicely. My only comment would be, as you said, the wheels are a bit overwhelming, I would go for 18" I think because after being used to those 17's might look a little "lost". Keep the pictures coming we're all interested in fellow members mods and sods.:)

Tony.

Hi @Andy Comerford, :welcome: to the forum from another Brummie, but now living in Staffordshire with my other half @Mrs Mint. Great looking Zed but the wheels do look a bit too big at 19". I'd go with 18" when you change them.

Hi all!

My names andy and I'm from Birmingham. Recently purchased my first Z3, have only owned mk1 mx5's previously but always loved the old Z3's so decided this time for a change! I'm no stranger to projects so you will probably see me floating around here fettling and asking questions :) 'Quinn' is a 97' 1.9, currently in Porsche non-metalic slate grey, coilovers and 19" X5 wheels. mirror and aerial deleted. There are still some things I am in the middle of changing/fixing/upgrading internally/externally and engine bay wise but taking my time currently so this is currently how she stands.

I look forward to mingling with y'all :)

Hi, Andy, and welcome from the other side of the pond. Nice looking car. It has a nice sleek look to it without the mirrors. Frankie
