New to me 03 z4 3.0

Hi guys just picked up my z4 today
I have noticed the park Indicator light on the shifter is on with the whole car shut off and no lights on it glows anybody know what the Hells going on thank you

I believe that the light stays on while the car goes into sleep mode.
Have you noticed if it's still on when it's been left for a while?

@pjm03fatboy I locked my car earlier and the orange light was lit, indicating the car was in Park. Just been back out (maybe a couple of hours) and the light has gone off. HTH.
