Just fitted a new throttle body to sort out the issue here - https://zroadster.org/threads/3-0-went-into-limp-mode-throttle-or-dsc.39143/.

It was a genuine VDO part (OEM) and even had the BMW scrubbed out on it. Nice price of £135 (second-hand unused) compared to from BMW at around £400.

We won't know for a little while if the error has definitely gone away as it was going to be one of those intermittent things.

But we know how the car goes now! Wow! We thought it was smooth and quick before but now it's further transformed. Well happy! I think we managed to do the whole swap in an hour too which was quick for us as we are normally slow coaches.

The same condition I bought the inlet cam sensor for my Z3 from ECP. Genuine Bosch part but with their logo removed. Genuine part number was left to identify it as genuine part. Again around 1/3 of cost from BMW.
