New roof (Stockport)

Just updated my journal about Jack Smiths roofs, had one fitted just before Christmas. Top quality, £300 fully fitted. He did say to me he now makes his own to the same quality as OEM whereas he used to get them from BAS, as most other sellers do. They charge around £280 and then the extra costs are all down to fitting. He is cheaper because he makes them up instead of buying them directly and doesn't rip people off with fitting charges, hence why he is so busy.
At that price I wouldn't bother with the hassle of fitting one myself, can you PM his details so I have them for when the hood replacement comes to the for front, cheers

Exactly, I believe it can be a bit of a nightmare to do. He was saying to me he has to be very careful with coloured roofs on zeds as they use mastic at the rear to seal them and if any gets on the hood you struggle to get it off. May as well let him do it for the price, even the guy in Croydon is worth a visit although he charges £400.

Where abouts is he located please?

Found them, Swansea 488 mile round trip, need to look a bit closer to home

Still work out a lot cheaper Paul.
Not really with fuel and a stop over, price gets ever closer, not sure about being a "mug" but if i can't find somewhere closer or cheaper within a sensible distance, will be giving them a try.

It could be done in the day Paul. 3 hours drive down, there for 10. Leave by 2, home by 6 with a stop off.
