I got my rear screen decal made up by this chap - his work is exceptional! He can reproduce any OEM decal. He made mine from a photograph or a period correct badge.

Very interesting thread that Matt, I have a Alpina Sytner tax disc holder which has seen better days which I suspect is original as the car was purchased from Sytner's in Hull back in '98. May just order myself one of those.

That's the best fitting non OEM hood I've seen by far. Will be interesting to hear how prone the rear screen is to rub marks compared to the OEM one but I guess yours is the wrong car to check that on lol

Ps you will be clocking up the mileage keep rolling it out like that. If you roll it back the same way though.........

Smart as a carrot mate!

The old one was pretty good too though. Be careful with the rear screen if you want to keep it pristine, I had a new screen put in my Z3 hood and thought it would take a while before the infamous scuff mark returned - it took no time at all! A couple of top down drives without bothering to put the fleecey blanket on and the mark was beginning to return almost immediately (nowhere near as bad of course but beginning to appear again none the less).

Has anyone had a Z4 hood replaced yet?

I had one of these fitted nearly 2 yrs ago now Jonttt - the window is really supple and looks great even after 2 years. I am interested in checking out other soft tops though because I have a wear point in exactly the same 2 spots as my previous roof and I'm interested in whether it matches anyone else or whether my roof frame needs a little adjusting :-\
