That's going to be a big contribution to the ///M fund when it moves on

Ordered the sill today, it will be with me tomorrow, Cost £130 including vat, basically it was £130 plus vat but got 20% trade discount, apparently there are 30 O/S sills in the country at the minute

Interesting. So are there more in Germany? Will they make more? Or I wonder if once those sills are gone that's it?

Are you taking out the rear subframe and changing all the bushings or anything as well @Sean d ? Will be a good concourse show car for someone.
I did consider the concourse route but it's just too much to take on, if the car was lower on miles, less then 50k miles I would have taken that route

I'd like to do concourse but it would have to be a Z3M pal, and to be honest I cant afford one worthy of the renovation as a low mileage s54 is £25K

If you really wanted to do a concourse restoration in the true sense of the word it would be strip to bare shell and off to blasters.

And I agree with Sean. It would only be worth doing that on a S54 Z3M or coupe. You might create something worth £45-£60k.

As a matter of prcation I replaced brake light seal as once they have been out the seal is no good for a second use. Only £2 per seal

Also the light unit is a good fit on the face of the boot lid too Sean. I think that's where the main issue is on Dawn's car even though it's a "Genuine" part. Is the gasket made of cork?

Tony.
