Hi Everyone, I've just got hold of a 1997 Z3 1.9 and will be looking for some advice over the coming weeks!
The central locking doesn't work and the actuator from inside the boot has been removed although I've still got it available from the previous owner along with all the key fobs, so a bit of testing and research into this will be coming soon!
The temperature gauge doesn't seem to come up out of the blue section even on a longer drive, but does rise from the completely cold position, so I'm thinking failed thermostat (open) or maybe temp sender fault.
First thing though - Those 16" wheels HAVE to go! I'm looking for wheel options to give more "spoked" look either original or aftermarket options. The style 42 or 78 in 17" maybe.. but the choices and sizes are so confusing even after reading lots of posts from others about offset and wider rears, I'm still not sure what fits the "narrow" body, so what looks great on the wide body may not fit mine?
