Hi Everyone,
New member here. I feel a bit of a fraud as I haven't got a 'Z' yet. I am, though, hoping to pick one up at the weekend if it's a good one. Its a 3.0 M54 auto version so any tips before I part with my money would be greatly appreciated. I intend to turn it into a ZGT, as per photograph, so, apologies if this is sacrilege around these parts:whistle:

Hi Brocky and welcome from me near Lincoln. Your Z, up to you what you do with it, the bonus is some of it will get recycled and help keep others on the road too. Everyone’s a winner.

Tony.

You may find a lot of help with your project by looking at the 'Z Rebody' section. I saw a very nice Z3 based 'Aston Martin' at Thoresby Hall last October. Photo on that thread in the 'Events write up' section. This was a very well executed example of what I think was the same 'kit' finished in a traditional Aston colour.

Now that's one lovely looking car, good luck with the project, how long do you think it will take to complete?

hi. cool project.
Always wondered how rebodies behave in terms of sound insulation.
do they clunk and rattle or are they solid?
