:welcome: From Mid-Wales, Jez. Enjoy!
Colin.
Heh, Colin, you're from Llani ! That's my favourite area for driving my Z4. I grew up in Aberystwyth and this is where my parents still live. The A470 and A44 are as good a route as you'll ever find....a half of Brains at the Bear in Crickhowell, lower the top, and 'vroom'......a bit of Led Zep or more recently Raven Eye.......down to Builth, up to Rhayader and then Plyn, and finally Aber.....The sheer beauty of that route still takes my breath away. It's sensational actually.

I will have to look you up when I am next down that way.

Hi from Mansfield. There will be plenty of meets and cruises starting in the next month or so. Fill your boots!

Thanks Grumps....can you guide me as to the Forum thread where I can read through all these meets? I am not sure about where to look.

Totally agree with you about the roads around here Jez, although they can be a bit 'iffy' during the winter. However, the summer cannot be beaten for a top down cruise with the music blasting. I must admit I am more of an Enya fan while driving, try 'A Day without Rain' while going 'over the top' as the sun is setting!:D Well, I am getting on a bit!
Zed is having his final coat on today, everything put back in place on Monday and oil and filter change on Wednesday ready for a trip down to my son's in Brighton early Thursday morning for the grandson's birthday.
Look forward to seeing you fly past my house on the A483 at some time:thumbsup:.
Colin.

I'm not averse to a bit of Enya myself, as it happens, I've got some very early Clannad in the car now. But something comes over me when the top's down - I have to rock out! But, yeah, Mid-Wales is my favourite driving country, no question. My only small gripe are the legions of bikers doing that classic route at weekends in the summer. Can't blame them, and I love a bike too, but I've seen some nasty accidents that have been quite tragic.....you've got to drive that route with real care. All the best in Brighton and maybe one day I'll see you in Llani, who knows.. Jez
