Hi I am currently looking at purchasing a Z3. This has been brought on by my classic 1954 Triumph TR2 needing an engine rebuild that does not look like being on the road any time this summer, and wanting some top down fun. As the Z3 should have really been the new Triumph Spitfire I don't feel like I am cheating on her.
If I find the right car then it will become a full time stable mate to the Triumph.

I am also into motorcycles and have a collection of old Japanese bikes, but my everyday bike is a BMW K1300S.

Hello Jack, welcome from Truro and good luck with your search. There are loads around and they are ridiculously cheap for the enjoyment they give you

Hi from Canada! Lots of great cars for sale by members presently, any of which I'd be proud to own. I also am a long time biker. Presently my ride is a 99 Honda Aero 1100, restoring an 86 Honda Rebel 450, a silver wing interstate 500 and a 40 Indian Scout!! JIM

You so are cheating! But who can blame you! I love the TR6, stunning car. Get a zed while the sun's shining and it will become the stable mate. There fantastic fun, nothing wrong with the 4 cylinder M44 but go for a 6 cylinder if you can. JMHO! .

Welcome along. I've come into Zed ownership after having owned a more established sixties classic. I think the Z3 provides great rear wheel drive fun and is still compact enough to chuck around. I have only driven 2.8s. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better car for the money. Hope you find a good 'un.

Cheers,

Jonnno

Thanks for the welcome. I am located near Darlington, I am looking for a 6 pot, but size doesn't matter. If I want speed I use a bike. Its mainly to be able to enjoy some time with the wife. Condition is the most important thing for me, as I don't want to be spending time sorting problems before I can drive.

Excellent picture of a great looking car:thumbsup:.I bought mine not being fussed about speed as i'v had my fair share of experiencing speed as an ex (for the moment) biker but i just get drawn into wanting to go that bit quicker when i drive it. Becomes an addiction with my Z i can't help it...may be i should seek counceling :ymdevil: :coolsteer)

God damn it , that was going to be my photo of the month entry.

Have a few other locations in mind, but have to get the car first, which is going to be in around 4 - 5 weeks time. The wait is going to be hard, but the car is worth the wait. Even the wife is looking forward to getting it.
