Hi Tony, Hi Jim
So a bit about my car, it’s 21 years old and therefore called my baby, my pervious car was 49 years old and called my Cougar (mk3 triumph spitfire). I am based in Benfleet, Essex to answer you question. Bits I've done on z3, replaced front kidney radiator grilles for chrome ones, replaced front bonnet badge, installed some led side lights and put a bee sting aerial in place of the dated oem aerial.
Jobs to do include, removal and refit a new throttle cable as pedal is very stiff and put on a pair of front Powerflex bushes as the car tends to track a lot. I’m still in two minds (mostly because of cost) as to wether I will install a pair of led halo angel eyes headlights....see pics
Or......
I’d originally bought a headlight restoration kit to clean up my existing headlights, however the fog is on the inside of the lenses, parting the lense from the body is the issue, I’ve read (on forums) that if you put the headlamp/s in an oven for 5 mins this will heat and separate the silicon/adhesive that secures the lense to the body, however my lady is less than enthusiastic on me doing this...lol so that’s why I’m leaning towards the angel eyes.
As a matter of opinion, which ones do you think I should go for?
