Hi There,

I'm Thomas, I was directed here by a guy from a Facebook group for the Z3.

Im looking to buy a very cheap Z3 that can drive, with some MOT but that needs work.

I'm selling an old MGB GT and will use the funds from that to buy parts etc for the Z3.

If you know of any roadsters that are cheap and need some work please let me know.

I'm based in Colchester, Essex.

Z3 are cheap anyway, but looking for under 1000 could be very expensive afterwards... We have members who found excellent zeds under 1000, but you must wait and hunt!

Hi from Canada! There are many z3 in your price range but as @Zeti stated can end up costing more than you expect! Arm yourself with as much info as possible and perhaps ask a member here that is close by to have a peek at whatever you find! GLWTS JIM

Hi,

I am a few available, depending what sort of a challenge you are after!

This silver P reg, high mileage, just under 170,000, has MOT until 2nd October, but has a few faults - needs a clutch (still drives, but revs when it wants when pulling away or changing gear), needs a new rear screen, the old one has shattered in the cold, also needs a thermostat (I drove it about 40 miles on a cold night and the heater never heated up), wing mirror bases corroded, needs a drivers door card, patches of rust in common places. Owes me £850.

I also have a project car that I was going to list on ebay as a 2.8 donor car or track toy starter kit. Missing doors (which I could replace in a different colour), again rear screen is split, I have also removed the stainless rear box, goes well though. Wing mirrors are gone.

I also have a lovely little 1.9 in hellrot red, just passed the MOT, has adjustable coilovers, good tyres, cruise control, nice exhaust note etc etc. Is high milage, about 166k, needs a new roof and rear bumper respray. Advertised on here
