Hi there, delighted to be a part of this enthusiastic and informative community! I’ve been a bit of an armchair car nerd for years (since selling my last classic - a 1972 Mercedes 220 saloon almost 20 years ago). I’ve always wanted a Z3 and found a great, original 2000 1.8 at the end of May with just 52k miles. Yes... I know it’s a bit of an underdog in the Z3 family, but it’s turned out to be a great find and while not quick, has been a fun drive and a nice little project for the last few months. This forum has been invaluable with the little fixes I’ve been sorting so thank you!
