I own a 97 Atlanta Bleu Z3 2.8L that I purchased 4 years ago w/167k miles. It's my daily driver and now has 242k miles. I've added a silver hardtop and style 35 chrome rims in the past year. I do all my own work on it and recently did a complete cooling system overhaul with new Stewart water pump, aluminum thermostat housing, & replaced every hose that coolant travels through. Over the next 2-3 weekends, I'll be re-doing all my suspension with new springs, bilstein struts/shocks, new bushings, control arms, end links, etc...

Also if anyone knows where I can pick up a straight subframe/trailing arms, I'm in the market as PO obviously slid the car into a curb and I have issues with bad and uneven camber on the rear.

Have you got confirmation that the previous owner slid it in to a kerb? We've seen rear ends get incredibly soft and sloppy at the back end due to the rubber components getting past their best, or in some cases failing completely (main beam bushes in particular). Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an assumption that it had been damaged and you end up changing the sub frame unnecessarily!

Are you anywhere near New Jersey? There are places not too far from here that have Z's that are being parted out. Frankie

Hi Eric and welcome from near Lincoln UK. Wow, that's getting some mileage for sure, but everyday use will do that for you, big distances and all that. We'll be over your side in Florida next month for 3 weeks and will rack up some miles on a hire car no doubt. Keep up the good work, always something to do.

This is from a few weeks ago when I dropped the subframe. It didn't look bent, but from what I hear even if it's off just a little bit(same with trailing arms). Those subframe bushings were the worst to get out. It took me about 3 hours to get them changed. The trail arm & rear diff bushings were a breeze.
