Hi Tim, we're from Heacham in Norfolk, formerly of Sutton in Cambridgeshire. Welcome to the EAC. That is a great colour for a Zed. We hope you will join us this year on one of our cruises.

welcome from the east of east anglia.

Brown is a bit of an unfair description! That looks rather nice. I think I'd call it a bronze!

and what's this
one the first events of the year is duxford, .
I've not seen any details on this one:arghh:

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes.

It is unusual, looks nice when the sunlight hits it. Colour code is 418 Impala brown, it is the original colour for the car, has matching seats too.

Only bit I don't like is the brown centre console surrounding the heater controls etc...

I might be changing that for a brushed ally one.

What's peoples opinions on the centre console?

Would a bit of aluminium look out of place?

Suppose I should really keep it original to it's build sheet.

I think it looks ok Tim. May be a bit of walnut trim would look ok too. BMW used a lot of different interior trims. I'd go for wood look over aluminium

I think something darker would improve it either dark wood effect or even black?

That's a lovely interior Andy, extended leather is quite rare isn't it?

The dark wood would suit mine I think, suppose I could just change it back if I don't like it.
Yeah, don't think I've seen it before? That and the 18 inch wheels is what drew me in. The rest as they say is history.
