Sorry to bump an old thread but was looking at the Zunsport (black). Website implies you just hook this in front of the existing grille - just need to remove and replace the number plate for access??? Thanks

Yes fitted one of these a few years back. The number plate helps hold it in place.

Changed my Z4 coupe lower grill for Zunsport SS mesh late last year. Clip and two self tappers to fit over the oem. So much easier than the one I made for my old Z3.
Now the front stands out a little more which gives it that wide grin appearance. Only bit of bling on the whole bodywork. Thought Black mesh wouldn’t stand out or make much of a difference, plus SS is so much easier to keep clean.
