New look for the coupe.

Just finished what nearly turned into a nightmare. Some small add-ons that make a real difference IMO. Never really liked the Z4 coupe from the front so decided to try and improve its look more to my liking. Rattle can spraying is more difficult than I imagined but got there in the end with three attempts. Had to buy universal connards cos they don’t make anything specific for the E86 coupe 3.0si. Didn’t stop me getting the saw and the Dremel out to alter those awful huge frontal add ons. After buying three lots I finally got it to my liking. Here’s a couple of pics.

Three goes at getting them to fit snug against the wing because they’re mounted on top of the Maxton splitter.

rears were made out of some others I bought but didn’t like, so they’re probably a one off.

here’s the finished resuly. Hope you like it but it really doesn’t matter if you don‘t because I think it’s great, plus subtle compared to others.

I'm too old in the tooth David to go down the cool black root, never did like the black look on the cars, think it all came about when a lot of petrol heads went colour blind. Lol. Stainless steel and car main colour for me all day long especially when it comes to cleaning it. Could have saved myself a lot of hassle if I'd left all the new bits black but they would have looked like they really didn't belong. Bit of bling suits most cars even if it's very old hat, which is me.lol. Appreciate the comment anyway.
(Still not driven on the open road yet, need to go get some fuel first.)
