Hello Everyone,
I'm Peter and have recently decided to make myself known to you all, for the record I own a 1998 2.8 Z3 which I will get around to posting. Some of the main reasons for joining was to get some like minded support from the group and get some useful inside information and tips, apart from of course, trying to meet up on some social engagements from time to time. So whatever I can benefit from being a part of the group I will be most grateful. I say this as I've gone through some pain with getting my car eventually back on the road. I think now on reflection as I had little place to go to get expert help, it would have been great to go to one place to get the right advice. I too of course have gained some of my own experience on running the car, so I hope to contribute as well as ask for advice.
For now my car is running fine and I hope to improve on it some more as I did after all buy it as my second (project) car and I'm loving driving it whenever I can. I look forward to being part of your group.
Hi, Peter, and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Frankie

Used to be @peter hatton , 23 years in the RAF Fire Service (not clever or gifted enought to be a fast jet pilot). Been on civvy street for 10 years now.
Ah well ya see, youre only talking to a former RAF airframes technician. I was in for 9 years, but ive been out for nearly 30 years now, small world eh :)

I served in Conningsby, but before the tornados came, so on the old phantom jets for 4 years, then at RAF
Odiham on the chinook helicopters for the rest of my time, so best of both worlds for me haha.
Honington x 2, Marham, Gutersloh, Brize Norton, Saxa Vord and Manston for me. Happy times indeed.
