I was referred to this thread from a Z3 Facebook group that I’m a part of and look forward to learning from everyone! I recently purchased a 2001 Z3 roadster from a local dealer auction here in Phoenix with the intention of flipping it but after putting the top down and making the 45 minute drive home, I fell in love with it and decided to keep it for myself.

Since I’ve owned it I’ve replaced the lower control arms and bushings (the bushings were almost non existent, kinda scary!), both tensioner pulleys, serpentine belt, oil filter housing gasket (had a small leak that was driving me crazy), upgraded to a Bluetooth radio, painted the wheels black, and other small cosmetic stuff. I just got a new back window that I’ll be putting on sometime this weekend. Look forward to meeting others in the group and seeing your Z3’s!

Hi @AZtopdownZ3 welcome from me near Lincoln, UK. Arizona, what a place to drive a Zed (that's what we call them). Job list as per normal for these cars. Rubber items are the most likely to be deteriorated. Suspension bushes, intake boots etc.
