Hi.. peeps.... This is my second post.
Today I just bought a hardtop for the Z3.
Lucky for me the seller only lives 2 miles away... The top is the same colour as the car thankfully. In sapphire black metallic..
Its been in storage for a while, and needs some TLC.. I've already started with a degrease, clay bar and started to compound with a da. What I have noticed is the paint is softer than the rest of the body panels. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that.
I did get the demister switch... But I do need to get the wiring loom for it...
Does anyone know what the part number is?

I've had my hard top since I've had my zed and have never connected the heated rear window wiring. I've never had the need to use it as I can't ever recall it misting up

I probably won't use it either... But that's besides the point for me... If it's in the car then it's getting connected. OCD

They look great with the HT on but unless your Zed lives outside I think they are a total waste of time, fitted mine once and it stopped raining and the sun came out. =))
Each to their own though

The wiring loom for the hrw switch is installed in the car; access via handbrake lever hole.

If your car came with "380 Hardtop preparation" the wiring should be in place (think its LHS near where hard top mounting bracket would go) to connect to the rear window.
