My names Dennis, im a retired machinist, but i still have a small shop on my property, comes in handy for making BMW parts on a Sunday morning at 2:00 AM....
I havent driven a BMW in 20+ years, I i was helping a friend move when he was driving my truck, and i followed him back to his new house, I fell in love with the way the 325i handled, It had good acceleration...I never got around to getting one until a year ago and it was overheating on day one.. I didnt know about the "BMW anti-freeze and distilled water only", or "resistance is futile" commandment from God.
The expanding tank, and the mounting bracket both came apart at the glued joints.lol...The factory glue turned into a whitish slime????.lesson learned...

Hi Dennis, welcome from me near Lincoln UK. Are you thinking about getting Z roadster after driving the 325?. Great cars, lots of fun.
Where are you located in the US please?

Tony.

Thanks to all that welcomed me to this impressive "meeting of the minds". I am a greenhorn at BMW'S , I am very enthusiastic, and its got me a obsessed enough to buy a 2000 z, m-sport, and a 325i M-SPORT, and I will share anything I learned about BMW in my travels, that I believe should be of value to some of experienced BMW Z Series owners /members, and be compliant with the board rules...
