Just bought my first Z3. It's a 2001 3.0i with 24,000 miles. My wife are very happy so far. We are a BMW family. We currently have, in addition to the Z3 we have an X5 and three BMW motorcycles. We live in Bakersfield California.

I was out in California about a year and a half ago to buy a 2000 Z3 ///M. Another member, @miller1098 from Wales, flew into Philly and we both flew out to Calif. to get the car and drive it back to Jersey. He's a great guy, a sheep rancher and a good friend. I've flown over to the UK twice to meet a lot of the members. It's a wonderful group of people in the forum. They treated me like family.
