I know I could not believe it. Of course it was sitting for a while and there a few issues here and there, but i can fix those. The low milage is something you cant fix unless you buy another car lol

I still believe that the Zed was waiting for you. And also that what is happening in our lives, isn't a hazard.
Again, lovely Bond's Zed!

I am new to this but i got the 2.5 which was branded as a 2.3. I was looking for a 2.8 but this baby was too good to pass up with 18k miles :)

There's nothing wrong with any of the engines - all great in different ways.
Branded as a 2.3? A little odd. Must be a story behind that. I think you can do this for Z3s. Get you VIN and check the original build on the BMW website. Don't have the link to hand but someone will be along shortly.

Yea i did an online decoder check on various websites. My freind who has a Zed told me this. They made a 2.5 and 2.8. The 2.8 were not selling well because not big of a difference between both. So BMW branded the 2.5 as a 2.3 to sell more 2.8.

Lol that is even confusing when I saw it lol.

If you see below it is a 2.3 with a displacement of 2.5...weird. I would like if someone can either confirm this or add more history to the story.

Should have clicked - no such engine as a 2.3 as far as I know.
