Wanted a change so put a different grill on but i'am really not sure about the look ?

To be honest with you that style of grill looks naff IMHO (but I think you realise that now ?)

Hi si-forks,

Not sure mate, I can see what you mean. I think I prefer the old one but these things can take time to adjust to.

I was going to change my front grills on my 4 from silver to black so I put a picture of both around the office and had a poll, Silver won hands down so I left it as it was.

I will sum it up for you , its looks like 2 venetian blinds, now take it off ;)

ps have a look at the cars on the beginning of the site and see that the blue zed B-) look nicer with chrome gills

makes the z3 look like it has a cold. The matte black looks miles better.

Out of the two photos, i prefer the first ones, and not a lover of chrome in any form, i think the originals would suit the blue better. I had those in the first photo but was not happy with them, they looked a bit bulky, but managed to track some down in black like the originals, neater and much thiner which look much better, but, if you like them, that is really all that matters :D

Ok I've removed the new grill ,and played around with the spray cans on the old ones ,i to am not a fan of chrome . This time I've sprayed the grills Matt black and then a light dust of metallic gray then clear coat
