Hello all, Just want to thank you guys for a really enjoyable day. You made us feel so welcome even though our car was less than 24 hours old ! Cracking route and a great acid test of how my girl performed - happy to say she didn't miss a beat - phew ! We enjoyed meeting so many of you. I am hoping that we get to meet you all again soon at the next meet up. Hope you all had a good journey home.

Wow, just got home after abandoning @BMBabe & Panther on the A34 Northbound. Sooo tired, but what a splendid day. Top marks to @pgunter for organising the routes, stops and pretty much everything else that happened.

I was really happy to meet all the oldies and the newbies, but also Mike (HT) who I've known now for many years now and only ever Skyped or PM'd. Thanks for everyone making the effort to come today! Only took a few pictures, too busy nattering with everyone...

Oh, and forgot to say a big "HI" to those passing Zed owners who took the time to stop and say hi when they saw us all parked up. Gave cards to a chap driving a lovely 3.0 Z4 Coupe and a nice biker couple who have a 2.0 Titanium Silver Z3 at home - sorry I forgot your names!

Also to everyone in the area who gave us a wave as we passed. The driver of the i8 was probably the most excited of them all!

Many thanks to @pgunter for the hard work he must have put in to organising such a great cruise. Gail & I had brilliant day. It was good to meet so many forum members who we hadn't met before plus those we have met previously. Big surprise was meeting Mike [Hard Top] good to finally meet you Mike.

On our way home we drove alongside another Dakar, you can imagine the smiles & waves exchanged.

Gail is sorting the photos, will post some later.

Hi Everyone who attended...

As this was my first drive out I was not sure what to expect... It more than exceeded expectations.
In addition to the really good route I learnt lots about my ZED and ZED's in general...
Thank you to PG for organising the day and thanks to everyone for being very welcoming.

To you all, what can I say.. Amazing day.. its not only the sorting the route that makes the day but the friends you make along the way. Without the work of @GazHyde @hard top and a few others besides running this forum it would not have been possible.

So what next.. I will be looking at a route along the south downs as well as trying to improve the New Forest route and hopefully making it a regular annual fixture as everybody seems to love the little bimble around at a slower pace.

Thank you for all coming and having fun.
