Hi Felix welcome from me too in Rochdale.
Nice looking car, hopefully you will be able to come on the runs out with us.
Sorry for taking so long to directly reply.

I would love to do some of the runs up by you. Clarkson obviously uses them in many of his films from Top Gear, when they still test drove the cars on public roads.

In a few year, my folks and I are looking at moving up north and one of the big perks of doing this move, will be the best driving roads in the UK :D

Hi Paul, I've paid for my Zedfest ticket earlier this morning, so I've got that one in my diary. I would love to go to meets at both Silverstone and the "Pod". I've always enjoyed watching action on track and about 9 or 10 years ago I went to Bimmerfest which was a massive BMW show at Santapod, I hope this is still an annual event that the "Zeds" will be attending?

I've mentioned in another thread that I'm really wanting to go to as many as the big meets/shows throughout the show season.

I have been on the car meet/show website CarHuddle.com working out what meets/shows I can manage to go between now and the end of Jan. I'll make sure to add the dates you mentioned and find the relevant threads so my name is down on members of the forum attending.

Stunning car Felix! I wanted a carbon black coupe when I was hunting for mine. Ended up with stratus grey, but that's no bad thing!

Thank you, the dealer photos don't do the car justice tbh. Weather meant to be clear and dry tomorrow, so my old man said he'll clean the Zed for me. Once he's done with it, I'll take some decent quality photos of it. Bar the kickplate popping off this morning, it's in really lovely condition. I really wanted to get one of the darker blue colours, but the one dealer who we were willing to travel to, never bothered to give us a call back, because we wanted to P/X if we could. In the end, there was a fairly local ( 17 miles ) dealer who had my one. I was surprised how much blue is in Carbon Black colour. It's growing on me as a colour. I do like how well it emphasises the shape of the car.

I actually drove with the roof down for a few miles, but came to my sense pretty quickly and put the hood back up. I'm really starting to feel at home in the car and my driving position is not causing my back any issues and I can see everything from my gauges, to the top of traffic lights!

In the new year I will hopefully be in a position where I can make some changes to the car, just to add my own stamp on things.

Carbon Black looks stunning when clean and in sunlight, almost blue. My mum has recently purchased a 1 Series convertible in Carbon Black, I saw how much blue showed through on the day it was collected. Now it's more of a carbon mud shade :banghead: so much for these 'careful lady owners' that really looks after their cars, it's been washed once in 3 months.
