'new' door cards fitted.

Fitted my replacement door cards on Monday,good job ,with the wet weather since.Modern garages are OK to squeeze your car in ,but no room to work!Anyway,as the driver's door card on the zed I bought was damaged,I looked for a replacement,but couldn't find a match.So a pair of slightly different ones were acquired.
The cards that I took off only had one speaker on each side where there is a space for two.Also,the cards that I bought were the same. Are they normally only fitted with one?

Yes there is normally only one speaker in each speaker housing per door card

I have 2 in both of mine, one which comes as standard and a Harmon Kardon one which I added separately. If you have the Harmon Kardon upgrade you should have 2 tweeters in each door card.

Thanks for answering that, now I know it doesn't really matter that there is only one per side.I didn't really fancy taking them off again to add speakers! To be honest I don't really bother with the stereo unless I'm just knocking about slowly.With the roof down and 'driving' I'd rather listen to the car.

Well,it's a start Paul. I'll have to leave it for a while now because I'm having my other car tidied up a bit before I nip off to Spain in a couple of weeks time. So it's going to be end of July before anything else gets done. It was always going to be more of a winter project anyway.
