I had two of those horrible new notes and an ordinary tenner in my pocket at the pub on Wednesday night and it feels like you have a pocket full of rubbish because they won't fold like proper notes. I hate them.

I take it you're talking about a new plasticized bill? We've had them for quite a while and they are crap! They tear easily and when cold have actually broken in half. They stick together if warmed to much so don't leave them in the sun or near your heater. Everyone hates them here but we don't have any choice!! Good luck!! JIM

Even our bank tellers hate the new bills!! They end up having to count and recount two or three times per customer due to sticking together @Shelly! We've had them for many years already and no one has a good word to say about them!! JIM

i can just about beat a thrupenny bit with seven shillings & six pence nearly a old pound
thats 1 five bob a 2 bob & six pennies
could never go back to the old money system
heres a tanner go to the shops & get 3 fags & a match
