New car tax rules?

New car tax. How will this effect buying a 2hand Zed?
I'm still out of the country so I'm a bit confused.
Duh plus I'm a bit blond with these things.

So only new cars? I was under the impression it applied to all cars bought after 1st April. Hmmm

It will keep creeping up Shelly as they do but the big tax increase is only on new cars so no big worries to come......yet!
