Had a half hour "power nap," after tea and went back out and finished cleaning it after the persistent rinsing this afternoon. Put the compo on and checked my tyre pressures, no loss on the O/S/R since Jamie reseated the valve stem. Topped up w/washers and checked coolant and engine oil levels. Think an oil and filter change is coming up for doing. Done 6,000 miles since I bought it last August and hasn't used a drop!

Tony.

These are cracking alloys... What tyres are you running?
They were fitted with Goodyear F1 Eagles when I bought them and so far I'm happy with them. I work in the tyre trade so I get a decent discount on tyres at work but even so these would be £100 each.

Tony.

Hi... I'm new here and a recent owner of a Titansilber 3.0. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of social media but there is obviously purpose and a common interest here.. I'm not what anybody would consider a "petrol head" but I have always admired the Z3, even in its skinnier form back in the day and now I'm well and truly hooked! I live in the Northampton area and would be very keen to hear from fellow Z3 owners in my neck of the woods.

Like most I'm waiting for summer to start so the top can come off. Not much that isn't standard on my zed so no pics yet, I've got a few ideas how I might enhance it in future but for now its great as it is.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Welcome from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Frankie

Hi and welcome from Oxfordshire, I'm not to far from you when I'm home. I hope it wasn't a black Z3M or my wife might have some explaining to do.
Oh no... Imagine your wife leaving you for a little bald guy in an orange robe... Sneaky buggers them monks :bored:

Hi @Uncle_Clanger and welcome to your second forum. Have you got the yaw sensor sorted yet. Hope to see you about soon.
Hello Brian and thanks.... Yes the Yaw sensor is sorted, not too bad in the end... Now I've got an intermittent issue with the revs dropping on pulling away... They dip and sometimes the engine stalls... I've had a fault code pointing to the inlet cam sensor but that fault reset itself after leaving the garage and has only just started to play up again.... Typical and the sun was out today :(

I've read a few horror stories about vanos issues....but the advise seems to be so far too run with the new cam sensor... Not had much luck in the sensor department. Your views or experience on this would be welcomed Brian as I know you are a fellow 3.0 owner.

Also with regard to the forums... Do I detect a slight rivalry between them? Or is it all in good fun? Its just I read a thread that refers to the "Dark Side"?? My take on it was. Net for technical stuff and . Org for more social affairs? Or am I off the mark? Friendly and helpful members across the board it seems.
