@dutch doyle , where are you located mate, someone may be local enough to be able to help? You could try disconnecting the battery earth lead when you stop but it appears to me you have a dead battery.

Hi Tony. Northern Ireland, Co Down. Have Zed exactly 3yrs. Had battery change after about 7/8 months. New battery fitted, and had it changed after 8/9 months, under guarantee. This one now seems flat?? I only use car in good weather, so it sits in the garage for a week, sometimes more, before use. Back to basics, but it does get frustrating, and I wish I was a mechanic.
Will keep going until I get sorted, or end up "on the drink." Ta for the welcome txt, everyone has been so friendly/helpful.

Sounds like it has to have a "drain" some where. try disconnecting the battery for a start and see what happens. Good luck with the car mate.

Sounds like you have a drain which is killing your batteries. Have you checked things like the boot light extinguishes when you shut the boot (set phone to video to see) or that nothing has jammed the seat motors?

It was said that was the reasons...boot light....seats...lights...radio. I have had headlight switch replaced....bulb in boot out. Radio has been disconnected since the start-up went wrong a couple of months ago. New battery to be fitted today, so I will know in the coming weeks and months if it something else drains the battery. Here's hoping!! Ta again for your encouragement, everyone has been so helpful.
