Mike

Get yourself a wife :p
Easy solution =))

Or else put the timer on your oven :p
How come us ladies can do 100 things at once and never burn the tea ;)
It's because we can multi- task ;)
And poor men can't ;)
( I never received my new washing machine @hard top ) =))

Easy solution =))

Thank you for your input Shelly, had one of them, high maintenance and very expensive in the long run and come with no warranty, think I will just go out and buy a proper boiler...sorry, typo, meant oven..:D

Mike, I know I can rely on you for a straight answer. What's this with the 'halogen'? Is it a Brit thing or something. Maybe it's a joke that's over my head. A few members laughed at my question but no one answered it. What's up? Frankie.......in the dark.

@HT, my friend has a halogen stove and had to buy a complete new set of pots and pans to use with it! Maybe that's your problem if you don't have the correct type equipment?? JIM

Yes that's true @oldcarman :p
I don't think normal sauce pans will work :)

We have an induction hob. You need the correct pans for that, . . . . . . so I'm told.

Tony.

Halogen is a form of heating element. It's very quick to start up. I think the one HT is talking about is a halogen pot. They sit on the worktop - it's not a coventional oven. Supposed to be more energy efficient an quicker to cook.
There are halogen hobs too. They work primarily with infrared light but also some conduction through the ceramic top. Think you can cook with normal metal pans on them but I might be wrong.

I didn't know what this oven thing was that you was using so I googled it
They have timers on them so how do you managed to burn everything

My input is buy a proper oven!!

=))=))
Now that is a woman who doesn't spend much time in the kitchen @BMBabe
That explains why your Kitchen looks unused, I suppose its a trip to the Cod Farther just round the corner from you each night.
That or Pot Noddles:hungry::p:D

Fuse set and............,

I agree with BMBabe, get a proper oven! Us ladies dont beed halogen to cook efficiently :p:p

But downloading a manual sounds like the plan! Once youve practiced a bit at not burning stuff we'll come visit ;)

Oh come on... even you can cook a basic meal... anybody can follow instructions..
