Ihave today priced up a new exhausts for my 2.0 zed, both from eisnmann, one is quad system.Do you think this quad is not for a 2.0 zed and a bit boy racer, after all its not standed for a non M.Its not a matter of cost .Your opinions will be of value. :)

My opinion is go for it!

I've seen a few Zeds switched to quad exhausts, and I certainly don't think it's something reserved for the big engines! I would have loved quad exhausts on mine, but could never justify the cash outlay.

Dont forget you have to do a bit of cutting to the rear bumper, but as long as its done properly it will look great. How much were you quoted, i have just been looking at eisenmann.

The quote over the phone today to eisnmann was £940 for the quad, jan offer was £1,050,no need to remove spare and they surply tenplate for cutting bumper,i am very tempted.

I would go back to them about not losing the spare. I can't see how you can possibly get the second exit past it! There is just not enough room...

as an aside i was quoted £550 for a quad or £300 for a twin catback system including fabrication and fitting from a place in birmingham. It might not sound as nice as an eisenmann system but a half the price it might be worth considering. I cant remember if they would cut the bumper for me or not and it was a few months ago so might not be the same price.

The purist in me says no as the quad exhaust is such an iconic ///M only feature ....... But if I'm honest and I had the choice of a quad exhaust I would seriously consider it as well. It would have to be well done / fitted though.
