Welcome to the forum Steve. Roof not a problem its going to be freezing for the next few weeks so plenty of time to get sorted before the sun makes an appearance. Saying that love going out with the top down, heater blowing and seats nice and toasty

I would have to agree with everyone else roof not working not a deal breaker z3 roof really simple compared to something like a merc slk vw eos or saab 9-3 if the rest of the car fits the bill try knock a bit off price and go for it

Hi, @Perkio, and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. I've just read through this thread and agree with all the others about you getting the car regardless of the top. I am driving a 1.9L '96 at the moment. My top is manual. However, I have been on the forum for quite a while and remember that at one time, a member was having trouble with the top not going down and it turned out to be a wire going from the brake lights to the top. Perhaps I might be wrong and don't remember this right, but it was my impression that when the brakes are applied, the brake lights go on and electrify a wire from the lights that go to the motor to tell it that the brake is on. If I do not remember this correctly, another forum member will correct me. Frankie

THAT'S REALLY GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any one of us will tell you that you didn't make a mistake. Such low mileage!!!! And it's not just the car that you have. Excellent, looks like you have just got yourself a belter, good luck with it, the only downside is the summer is nearly over, I bought mine about this time last year, It was resprayed over xmas and I was driving it with the roof down in January and continued to do so all year, however its a lot nice when it 20+ degrees outside.
Tried hard to get more off but I know he has dropped the price already from £3750 last week & think it I may have noticed it at £3950 originally, think it is a much better buy than another I saw recently
