We stayed at Dornoch Castle last night
Built 1500 for the bishops of Caithness
Though it has an 800 year old cathedral it's not a city as its so small Madonna and Guy Richie's sin Rocco was christened here apparently
Walk to the beach before we set off
Bridge over the Dornoch firth A9
Towards Dingwall
Came of the A9 for petrol, via little road to Invergordon hometown of the Stolzman brothers from world's strongest man
Cromarty Firth looks to be a hive of activity
Spotted near Dingwall gave him a wave
And over to Inverness Been over that bridge a few times on Stevo's] runs!
Tempted to go round again
A96 to Nairn then a939 to Grantiwn on Spey, not a car on the a939, lovely flowing road. Spotted gave him a wave!
Found AA box 746!

The castle and village (?) look very interesting and I’m assuming there’s history associated with the former? And the beach…sigh…
You’re in the best place to avoid this blisteringly hot weather. It’s been a very uncomfortable 32 degrees here today.

Grantown on Spey to Doune near Dunblane. 135 miles via some of the NE250 and Glenshee pass, top down all the way

Rod said he had to clench his arse every 2 minutes on this road as the boot was so full. Part of the NE250
