After 2 years I've had to rebuild the first bird feeder I made.
Just needed stripping and the inverted plant pot replacing.

I fool around with making feeders sometimes . We have pigeons show up sometimes , they manage to empty a feeder in just a few minutes . If I made one like that , I would have to lower the top part down to where only smaller birds could get in .

We have a couple of fat pigeons call everyday they don’t bother with this feeder though. They do however walk across the yard in front of the garage and set off the Ring camera.

you need a deterrant - 12 bore should do it

I throw crumbled stale bread on the lawn so the pidgeons go for that and leave the feeders. The clever magpies pick up the stale bread then walk over to the fishpond to dunk their bread before eating it!
