Spent an interesting weekend visiting the National Memorial Arboretum. A vast site with a large number of memorials to members of the armed forces and other 'non-military' memorials, landscaped with thousands of different trees. A small selection of photos:

Impressive centrepiece memorial inscribed with the names of all armed forces personnel who have fallen in conflict since the end of the Second World War:

And, perhaps, the most poignant of all, the memorial to those 'Shot at Dawn' in the First World War:
