I have been told that if I replace my facelift 2.2ltr rear end with a Z3M rear it will give me more room to fit bigger wheels and tyres or I can use the pre facelift rear as an option. Is this true? or am I barking mad?

I have heard similar or you can use 1.9 half shafts, this allows you to fit deep dish wheels.

How much wider do you wanna go?

They will swallow a 10 inch rim easily!

Thanks guys, If you just change the half shafts, will that do, or do you have to change the wishbones as well. Are the 1.9 half shafts a direct fit and will they handle the extra power and grip? Don't want to go spending on something that won't work if you know what I mean.
