Can anyone identify the font used in this picture?
It's the line of text underneath ET that I'm after .......

I would say "Scenario Light" is a very close match. The characters have a Serif and are italicised with the E and T being enlarged by a couple of points at the front of the words "EXTRA" and "TERRESTRIAL". Have a look at this website for the character set of this font and see what you think.

I tried that website before I posted (sorry I should have said so)
I agree about the increased point size of the initial letters but it's the As and Rs which are slightly curved that are proving difficult to match.

Yeh I see what you mean about the R's and A's.

Just used THIS site and took a snapshot from your image and adjusted to colours to make it easier to read and it cam up with the following font as a damn close match;

Jasmine UPC Italic Font

Have a go yourself there are one or two more it lists that are very close.

Edit: this one looks good too;
