In the 8 years I've owned my Fiesta I have replaced the front off side spring twice because it broke and each time changed the near side to.
I really don't understand why it's always the front off side

Solution is don't buy a ford. Never had one, never had a spring fail.

parked my Vauxhall Combo van a while ago, went to rear door to get tool bag and the top pigtail coil rolled out from underneath and rested against my boot!

Didn't affect ride height or handling so left it until the MOT and found both sides had gone!

Better cross Vauxhall's off the list as well!

Definitely broken spring, happened on my Galaxy (but it's actually a VW...).
BMW's (modern or Z4 onwards) are notorious for this.

Back to the Fiesta, sounds like a perfect excuse for full a set of coilovers and adjustable camber top mounts. I've heard this can handle pretty well!

@Grumpy if it is making noise when driving the broken end of term spring is probably rubbing on the tyre so shouldn't be driven far as it can soon ruin the tyre. The spring is bigger diameter than the support and drops down the strut.

Supergrass still think you've got the best wheels on any Zed I've seen though but my dust caps are MILES cleaner than yours

I'm really sad, I have BMW ones with grub screws in to stop the Pikey's having them away.
