Glad you like them Tony, I was a bit dubious about putting them on, I too take Molly carp fishing, we went over night last summer but we where home for 10.30Great pictures from a country lad Sean, I love the picture of you and your daughter. I used to take our Abbie fishing, she could get up at silly o'clock to go fishing at about the same age as your daughter, not so keen for school a few years later. 2010 was a fairly snowy affair round here too, kept me off work for 2 days (shame!).Thank you for sharing them.
Tony.
Just think how much Boots would charge you to develop that lot
I have a Carp lake next door Sean, run by my mate Neil. I used to be a really mad keen coarse angler but after my heart op 8 years ago the passion has gone.Glad you like them Tony, I was a bit dubious about putting them on, I too take Molly carp fishing, we went over night last summer but we where home for 10.30![]()
The same happened to me Tony, just lost it, I lived for carp fishing and used to fish Spain and France 4-5 times a year, then I just lost it,I have a Carp lake next door Sean, run by my mate Neil. I used to be a really mad keen coarse angler but after my heart op 8 years ago the passion has gone. After that I started spending my money on a Mazda MX5 (Eunos) then my Z3 and now the Z4.
Tony.
I sold most of mine pal, just have the basics now, I also used to really enjoy winter pikeNice fish mate. I was "banned" from fishing by my surgeon after the op to let my chest bone heal, wasn't even allowed to play darts believe it or not. Chucking a large, heavy feeder across the Trent with a 14ft feeder rod was out of the question. Still have all my gear though.
Tony.
TBH, I would have probably sold mine if I could have got a decent price, but angling isn't what it was 10 years ago, I think fuel prices have finished the likelihood of people travelling far just for a day's fishing.I sold most of mine pal, just have the basics now, I also used to really enjoy winter pike
I still enjoy beating Mike but I have never hung game for more then a couple of days and thats in the cold, heres a brace for you, both caught within 20 mins of being out, this really was a special hawk, the likes I will probably never find again, amazing how we take things for grantedEnjoying this read, used to go beating as a kid and got paid with a brace of Pheasants and a couple of bob.
Quite alarming though when the shot came down around and about you, great fun but I don't think they would let kids do it these days.
Used to play a game with my mum, hung the birds in the garage, she would through them in the bin, I would pull them out and so on and so on......
I have done this many times, its a great method that an old mate showed me
I when to Australia for 7 weeks and took 365 photo on film 10 years late i went to Cario for 2 weeks and took 7k photos. Digital is the way forwardJust think how much Boots would charge you to develop that lot
Bloody hell how easy did he make that look. When i was a kid i had to pluck 8 chickens one after another. I wish I'd known that way at the time
