The roll hoops are already being useful on a quick trip to storage to pull a set of K1s with Federal 595 RS-RR 235/40-17 to replace the heavier square DS-2s with HancookVentus V2s I'm currently running.

Gotta squeeze as much as I can out of the M44.

Grippier than the Hankook Ventus V2's. These Federal are my cheap set of AutoX tires.

And you didn't have to use a boot rack and get into the dispute here on whether or not you have it installed properly or not. Nice scoop with the hoops, at that price they were a steal especially complete with everything you needed. Any real good front bumpers in Boston Green floating around down there?? JIM

Unfortunately, no, I am also on the hunt for a post 2000 front bumper with the splitters.

I sometimes see them here at local dismantles and will keep an eye out.

Interestingly, I see a disportunate number of Z's with front end crashes. Attention span, driving spiritedly and poor brake maintenance?

Ah, you can do the rear hoop upgrade as well. Despite the pouring rain, I was able to take apart the hoop and speaker assembly just fine. I bagged every washer, nut and bolt. I was able to pull it's folding top as well as the rear zipper double stitching was still intact. I hand sewed the current top on the car now and have decided to have more respect for the skills of tailors and seamstresses.

So, I got diverted to work on my Son's TI as well as my Wife's 540it. I did manage to get the Kosei K1s on with the Federal tires on and just had to road test the setup. A little more response, but no more drifting through turns. total stick just now. Great dry tires for the price. Not so good in the rain. Actually scary in the wet. but the sun is shiny now, so the fun factor is up as well.

2nd sport seat is in and the heating elements work just fine. I also manage to get to a used music store as the Z has a Business CD and changer. Not in a hurry to get in a more modern system just yet, BT snd iPhone integration so, I picked us some used Stones, EWF, Journey, U2, Shakira, Eagles and the three tenors to zip around or chill out on top down days...

It will be a little funner getting to work. I'll set up Harry's LapTimer up door to door to the office to check my zip times.

With the albums you've selected don't be surprised if your times increase. You'll be so mellowed out you won't want the day to start at work!!! JIM

Haha, Prolly true but makes for a nice ride... I will swap out the Tenors tho for Ariana Grande... :)

Oh, one note the tires are so worth the price. They are making me consider a bit firmer suspension to keep good contact and reduce the roll on the car. Another set of adjustable colilovers may be in order.

Thanks, the first link is almost as bad as mine but the second does look better. I wish there was an email address in their ad! I've messages a breaker in Minnesota about a ten hour one way trip regarding one but haven't heard back! JIM

Just noticed the broken photolinks. I don't recall if I uploaded directly or used Photobucket. anyone experienced a similar image failure?
