Although I love my Z4 on the outside I can't help thinking that the interior of my Z3 was nicer. It may grow on me but the brushed aluminium just doesn't seem as cosy as black leather or leather look finish. Can you get replacements for these shiny bits in matt black or has anyone covered or painted them and re-fitted?
Maybe I should just accept that I've now sold my kit cars and stick with what the manufacturer has provided!!

Took me a while to get used to the modern look of the interior. Mine has red seats with the grey interior which is a nice contrast, but I personally don't like dark interiors that much. That's what bugged my with my Z3 - black dash, centre console, carpets, seats. It was like a black hole inside.
