Hi, as suggested a photo of my pride and joy not a million miles from yourself in Ripley, Derbyshire.
Question, does this message go to yourself or the group? Mick
The group unless you Pm them

Hi and welcome, I too have a very rusty 6 pot that I am currently restoring
And I thought it was only me that had one.
Is yours localised rust or quite simply rust everywhere as mine is?
I thought at first it was an underseal problem but the rust in the engine compartment disproved that.
Mines a 2 Litre with 148K on the clock.
Cheers Mick.

Rust every where, 2 new rear wings, 2 new front wings, 2 new sills, 2 new inner sills, powder coat X brace , hubs and ARB done so far and then rear end to get all the under parts powder coated , new suspension all round and all underside rubber changed, its a 2.8 with 130k, some may say a waste of money but I thoroughly enjoy it.
Its also getting a new interior including M seats
