Yesterday there was an addition to my family...

Not bad for a cheap and cheerful summer runner. Need to sort the power steering leak but otherwise she is sound as a pound mechanically and cosmetically, well, don't look too close! Red doesn't like the sun.... ;o/

I am staggered at what great value these cars offer. The feel is very germanic and solid, the handling is superb and predictable. I guess having been used to a big diesel 4x4 the contrast is greater, but even compared to my Dad's 3 series, this is low, firm and agile. interior ages well, body style was retro to begin with so ages well too. I don't think I want to do anything but drive it. cant justify the cost of a hard top £500 at this point, but if she proves a keeper, then who knows?
