Yeah its a great day out, did it a couple of years ago.

Actually you are a very civilised crowd too... with a good sense of humour and cracking food, with a splash of excellent hospitality from @Grumps and Jue....

Just seen there's a run out in Lincolnshire next year. Might be tempted to pop across the Humber for a look.
Oh and we do like Southerners up here in Yorkshire. Especially when they're dipped in gravy.=))

Hi Dave, if you're referring to our meet at Torksey Lock on Sept. 2nd. you will be more than welcome but places are filling FAST.:thumbsup: You'd feel right at home anyway mate, it's full of Yorkies around here, mostly the South Yorks. variety though.:)

Sounds interesting Tony. What exactly goes on, is there a meet and then a road run ? Never been to this kind of thing.
Oh and I assume we get to sacrifice some MX5 owners to the gods in Munich :ymdevil:
 
Hi mate, next year will be our 4th. event. The first year was just a meet at our local pub for a beer (or two in some cases) and a good meal. The last two years me and Shirl have worked out a nice comfy hour long (approx.) cruise before lunch at the pub. Next Sept. will likely be more of the same too. If you can make it I'm sure you will enjoy it mate, this is the most social forum out there, you'll soon make new friends here.
