Hello all, just picked up my 2010 Z4 sDrive31i on Saturday. I live in the White Mountains of Arizona, but the Z4 was in Colorado, so I got a nice 7 hour drive back to Arizona to see how she runs! She runs great! Super impressed with the handling and power, it's really a fun car to drive. Although I did get a bit sunburned with the top down most of the way home!
I also drive a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I've customized quite a bit. I'm use to doing my own work on my vehicles and like to personalize them. I've already downloaded the Carly app to do some coding, although the generic OBD-II reader I have didn't allow customization to some modules so I have the Carly adapter on order. I do like the accurate digital speedometer code. Anyway, I'll be looking to see what other folks have done to personalize their vehicles and probably steal some ideas.
My Jeep is called "TrailCat" and has University of Arizona personalized plate that says "TRLCAT". I'm thinking the Z4 is either going to get a UofA plate that says "4ZCATZ" or the UofA logo followed by "4ZWIN". My kids are in college, so my wife and I have an empty nest, so I also considered a Route 66 plate that says EMTNST, but my wife wants a UofA plate. I posted the options as a poll on Facebook, EMTNST won the popular vote by a landslide, but the electoral college is going to win this one (the electoral college consists of my wife!) LOL
