May I introduce you to Raffles
he‘s been in our stable since 1985
I never worry about parking dings and scapes
it just adds more “character”
Also no engine lights to worry about

Never dull old beans

Well back in the day when Cal Look was new in the UK (mid 80’s) he was
de-chromed,lowered and painted pastel blue
Had a big ol’ engine and still has a neat interior
now runs 1200 motor and is used for fun
We also have a Black ‘66 ragtop that is a rolling restoration
Nowadays you need deep pockets to be in the VW scene
Any Barn Find Split Busses in AZ?

I haven't had a VW in a very long time, I was into buses (caravan?) and some bugs too, but mostly I liked rebuilding the engine with a slight performance boost for eager family men like my father.
There are some VWs in AZ but not a huge amount, haven't really been into the car scene for some time but from what I can tell Subaru still reigns supreme around here followed by rice burners and a few Bemers. I guess I'm still a romantic about what I use to do when I was younger.
